Appearance

Jayleap is a white cat with dappled black spots all over him, and black pawpads and nose. He has short fur and long whiskers, with dark, wide blue eyes. He is an averaged sized cat with a lithe frame. He has erect ears and a shorthair type build, with a small scar at the back of his neck from his first battle.
Personality

Positive Traits: Jayleap is a rather quiet cat, but that doesn't mean he doesn't think. He is more intelligent than not, and tends to be a fine mix of emotional and logical. Kind yet reserved, he tends to keep to himself and doesn't bother others, always helping when asked. He relies on common sense and always tries to give his two cents to a situation he think he can help, but whether others take it or not is not his concern. He is kind of a feminine tom, but he still tries to be like the other apprentices all the same. He is responsible and respectful, making him a loyal asset to the Clan.
Negative Traits: He is usually made fun of for not seeming strong and charismatic like the other young toms, which often makes him sad. He is rather impatient and won't wait long for someone, even his mentor, no matter how much he respects them. He is also reserved and shy, which makes it hard for him to make friends with others of his age.
Backstory

Jayleap was found on the border as just a young kit, but still weaned. He was taken in by Emberspirit, who later went on to become his mentor when no other cat wanted the responsibility. He was raised with little family and as an apprentice has little friends because of his shyness.
